Beverly YMCA

Reading takes Gold and Silver

Our own Bob Bristol won gold and Jane Flynn took silver in the recent blind draw tournament at the Beverly YMCA. Also participating for the home team were Judy Forester, Natalie O'Connell, John Doherty and Kevin O'Connell.

In the advanced group play, Donald Forester and myself made it through two rounds. So what if one was by way of a bye. We lost a squeaker at the end 15-13.

What's Up

Add Lexington to the Places to Play. On Wednesday at 7:15 PM, we played our first game of  pickleball in the Lexington High School Field House. We started with two nets and can expand if necessary. The new group of beginners that started this week will be bringing reinforcements.

***Be sure to check the blog www.bostonpickleball.blogspot.com before coming, since there will be a number of Wednesdays when the Field House will be unavailable.
                                                               Dome Two

Huckins Farm in Bedford MA is eager this coming spring to convert a tennis court to multiple use, which means lines for pickleball. While Huckins Farm is private, I'm hoping we may get some guest passes to spread around.
