The Sea Dogs

On April 24th and 25th over a dozen hearty Bay Staters traveled to South Portland to participate in a pickleball tournament. It began with a dinner at Joe's Boathouse Restaurant in South Portland followed by a sleepover in a Best Western complete with massage chairs. Then on Saturday we did battle.

Two trophies were awarded. As I understand it, Jill got a trophy for getting a trophy a month ago, and Jim received a golden pickleball trophy for having the best pompadour. Donald Trump wants to know his secret.

Outside Play

Now that the weather is warming and the snow in nearly gone, it's time to think about outdoor play. While it is still a month away for most venues, Malden will be playing outdoors on the last Thursday of April at Amerige Park on the Fellsway.
