Pickleopolis from Sue Carnvale
We still need a few volunteers to help demonstrate/teach/ share your enthusiasm on three courts at the Danvers Family Days. Date: Sunday June 28th at the Holten Richmond Middle School from 11-3. Please let me know if you can assist.
The benefit in Wilmington last weekend was quite a success!! It was also a lot of fun. Players from the Braintree Area made the trek up to support the event. Peter Sullivan reported that close to $3000 was collected for cancer research. Congratulations to all winners. Photos of the event are available on Peter's Boston Blog.
The week has brought us lots of pickleball to look forward to here on the North Shore. We can now play on the two courts at Collins Cove in Salem!!!! Please see the attached photo. We do however, need a few volunteers to help set up and take down the nets. Please let myself or Rick Haigis know if you are available. I believe Rick is looking for morning /afternoon and probably early evening shifts.
By the end of the week, the two courts at Obear Park in Beverly will also be ready to go!!! Again, we need volunteers to help set up and take down the nets. I am looking for morning/afternoon and early evening shifts. If anyone has access to a lock box, we may be able to keep the nets on location. Please let me know if you can assist.
New Hampshire Senior Games and
Massachusetts Senior Games are in August
Please remember to support USAPA with your $25 membership fee.
